A new exploration and production contract at the C-6 block on Mauritania’s Off Shore by Kosmos Energy Mauritania

A new exploration and production contract on block C-6 in Off-shore Mauritania by the company Kosmos Energy Mauritania, was signed on Tuesday in Nouakchott, jointly by the Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Mines, Mohamed Abdel Vatah and the CEO of Kosmos Energy Mauritania, Andrew Inglis, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Oil, energy and mines.

The signing of the contract within the framework of the fourth edition of the conference on the sectors of mining and petroleum in Mauritania ‘auritanides 2016” and is part of the policy of the state of Mauritania in viastas to the revitalization of the oil sector .

Let us remember that the company Kosmos Energy is related to the Mauritanian State by three other recent contracts of Exploracion-Produccion and his work in this context, shows significant gas discoveries in the high seas.
