The invitation to tender follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which has been published on UNDB AFDB79-02 / 13 of February 22, 2013 and on the African Development Bank Group website (www.afdb.org).
The Islamic Republic of Mauritania has obtained a loan from the African Development Bank to finance the cost of the “Integrated National Project in the Rural Water Sector (PNISER) / Islamic Republic of Mauritania”. It is envisaged that a part of the sums granted under this loan will be used to make the payments provided for in the title of the construction of eight (8) pastoral pumping stations in the Braila and Gorgol and Tagant wilayas .
The Ministry of Hydraulics and Sanitation of Mauritania acting as a contracting entity will invite by this international competition, eligible bidders to submit their bids in a sealed envelope, trained to supply and install solar pumping equipment for eight (8) stations Pastoral pumping at the sites of Maraissa and Roueibina 2 in Gorgol wilaya, Umm Edenaye El Khadra, Tourgueline and Dakhlet Mouri in the Wilaya del Tagant, and Gdem EIB, Ednech and Avdjeijir in the Wilaya of Brakna in Mauritania.
The execution period will be six (6) months.
